food storage
If I had paid more attention to my food storage options in the past, I would probably have more money in my pocket right now. Our grocery bill is rather high, but it would be lower if I had the things I needed to keep my food fresh for a longer period of time. Half of this is due to my refrigerator, but that is something that is out of my hands at the moment. I have had to throw away just too much food, and I need better options for keeping things longer.

Coffee Beans

Up till the last 10 years, coffee beans were something that most people took for granted in this country. Basically, in the morning you would have a fresh cup of Joe. As long as it was freshly brewed coffee, it was good enough. No one really worried about the roast, the variety, are the source of the coffee beans. Oh sure, there were a few connoisseurs – there always are – but in general, one cup of coffee was more or less accounted equivalent to another.
